Hello Loves!
With the colder climate creeping onto South Africa, my skin has felt very dehydrated. Around this time of year, I’m always on the lookout for an effective facial moisturizer.
I have been using the Sukin Facial Moisturiser for over 3 weeks now and so far, I cannot say one bad thing.
The consistency is not too thick and greasy; therefore, it allows my skin to breathe. The scent is so fresh it literally smells like nature. The packaging is so clean and crisp. I love the pump bottle which makes for a more controlled usage.
Sukin is an Australian brand that prides itself on being an all-natural, cruelty free, no bells and whistles kind of brand. I can definitely stand behind that.
The main Ingredients of this specific moisturiser includes:
· Aloe Vera: Rich in Vitamin A and C, high in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties.
· Avocado Oil: Contains Vitamin E as well as highly nourishing and moisturising nutrients.
· Jojoba Oil: High in Vitamin E and B-complex which assists with skin repair and damage control. Also combats inflammation due to dryness.
· Sesame Oil: With its anti-bacterial properties, it combats acne flare ups and scars left behind.
· Rosehip Oil: Firms, brightens, and soothes the skin. It also assists in evening out the skin tone.
I don’t know about you, but this all sounds so delicious for the skin. I apply the moisturiser to freshly cleansed and toned skin every morning. After going about my daily routine, my skin still holds all the moisture. For makeup application, it preps the skin perfectly and gives my foundation that natural skin finish which I love. Even when wearing a full coverage matte foundation, my base does not flake or crack up.
Overall, this has been one of the best facial moisturisers I’ve tried. Although this was gifted to me, I’ll definitely be repurchasing.
Have you tried the Sukin Signature range? I’d love to try the rest of the range, especially the Original Mist Hydrating Toner.
